$5,000 reward offered for Manhattan dog who escaped from dog walker

February 26, 2015

A $5,000 reward has been offered for a missing dog in New York, who escaped from her dog walker.

Sugar is a 62 pound, blonde brindle pit. She escaped from her dog walker in Manhattan in the East Village.Gramercy Area in Manhattan on February 23 around 7:00 p.m.

Her family and friends have been out searching since she escaped on 26th and 3rd Avenue. Sugar is friendly toward people but has fear aggression to some dogs.

Thankfully, Sugar is microchipped, and this may help if she’s found and turned in to a shelter. It’s believed someone has found her and taken her in, making it urgent that people share Star’s story through social media. Be sure to spread the word, especially with friends in the Manhattan area.

If you’ve seen Sugar, please call Michele: (917) 796-0171. Star has no collar/leash/or sweater to identify her.
