Rock Hill rescue needs donations to care for 7 pups abandoned in a bucket

March 28, 2015

On March 20, an upstate South Carolina rescue learned of a litter of puppies abandoned in a bucket. Now they can really use some financial help to help raise them.

Every Life Matters Animal Rescue, located in Rock Hill, received an email saying seven puppies had been abandoned after being placed inside a bucket and left at Greenville County Animal Care. The pups, only three days old, were immediately welcomed into the rescue, and bottle feeders were found.

Unfortunately, the rescue is low on funds after saving the “Candy” litter. They need donations for the next six weeks to be able to raise the puppies. There are two ways you can help.

A YouCaring webpage has been set up here. If you’d prefer to donate supplies, please email them at everylifemattersrescu e@gmail.com. Their current need is for Esbilac Milk Replacement Puppy formula for the bottle babies, which can be ordered and shipped from your favorite pet retailer. The address is 530 Harmony Glen Circle, Rock Hill, SC 29730. If you do order, Every Life Matters asks that you let them know you’re sending them a shipment so they can be expecting it.

According to their webpage mission statement

“Every Life Matters Rescue is committed to saving the lives of pets that are in need of loving homes and a new lease on life. We are located in Rock Hill, South Carolina and in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. We strive to rescue pets from unfavorable conditions, owner surrender and shelters that cannot meet these animal’s needs. We are a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing, caring for and finding amazing homes for these wonderful animals. We are in the business of saving lives and uniting loving owners and great pets. This process requires transporting animals, providing loving foster homes for our waiting pets and seeing to it that their needs are met and they receive all the veterinary care needed for a long and happy life. We work with surrounding counties as well as out of state agencies to make this happen.”

Please give a few dollars if you can. Or drop off a donation in person or order the replacement milk and have it shipped. Every little bit helps. The YouCaring only has $10 in donations at the time of this article. Not nearly enough to raise seven wee ones.
