Quasi has a lot of difficulties getting around due to his legs being crooked. He has to balance on his elbows as he walks, or walking is painful. The volunteers and staff fell in love with his big heart and loving spirit and he has ended up in the arms of some people who are willing to do whatever it takes to help him.
Leann Hughes and her family are fostering Quasi, trying to make his days as fun-filled as possible. Not only that, but Dr. Jonathan Dyce at Ohio State Univesity Veterinary Medical Center is going to perform a carpal fusion on Quasi, which will get him walking on all 4 paws.
This surgery is going to be costly, but this sweet guy deserves a normal life.
Quasi’s leg surgery is going to cost $4,000-$5,000. This does not include the weekly splint care, which he will need for 6 weeks post-op.
