A Belton animal control officer is helping the family of an injured kitten and could use your help with the emergency vet expenses needed to save her life
Christmas was close to death, and because she hadn’t been established with a vet, the emergency veterinary clinic in Anderson was the only option. The mother was desperate, but couldn’t afford the massive bill at the emergency clinic.
Belton SC animal control officer Doreen Howe saw the plea and personally took responsibility for the bill at Magnolia Veterinary Hospital, who was waiting for Christmas to arrive and saved this sweet kitty.
Knowing this was a nice family that sincerely loved their kitten Officer Howe then reunited the family. The total cost was $577 but the goal has been set at $700 in order to have Christmas spayed and established with a vet. A YouCaring webpage to raise funds can be found here.
