A North Carolina woman is recovering after being attacked by dogs, WYFF4 News reported September 27.
The victim was dragged 12 to 15 feet onto her neighbor’s property, where she suffered numerous bites and severe lacerations. Unable to use her cell phone, the victim was able to crawl back home and contact her brother, who took her to Park Ridge Hospital. As of Saturday night, the woman is in critical but stable condition.
The suspected dogs are being held at the Henderson County Animal Shelter, and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Animal Enforcement officers are investigating the incident.
There’s no word on who owns the dogs, or whether charges will be filed.
