A $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the pain and abuse inflicted on this poor dog, found October 14 in Bakersfield, California. The reward is being offered by Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue, located in Tehachapi, California.
Someone either took this dog and sliced his leg to insert the hook, or forced the blunt end into the flesh.
Marley’s Mutts made the following statement on their Facebook page
“Words are something I am rarely short on but today I was frozen, the only thing that I could let out of me was tears.
I can’t describe the anger, disappointment and heartbreak that we all feel at this moment. All I can say is he is now safe with us.
This sadly was not the only wound on Boy and it appears that whatever “home” he came from was a hellish place that I wouldn’t wish any animal into.
We can’t sit back, accept it and move on. Instead we must stand up and fight for these animals who have no voice. We are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the monsters who did this.”
