The image of a woman inside an upstate South Carolina Walmart has been released concerning the case of six kittens who were rescued after being dumped in a trash can earlier this month, WCNC News reported May 13.
Law enforcement authorities say the investigation into the case is ongoing, and they wish to speak with the woman pictured in the surveillance video. A vehicle in the Walmart parking lot has also been made public, whom the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office say the occupants have information.
According to the Sheriff’s office, charges may be made, including cruelty to animals or animal abandonment, which are both misdemeanor offenses.
