An Upstate South Carolina couple returned home Monday afternoon to find their home burglarized, their small dog burned to death and a disturbing note left behind, WYFF4 News reported August 31.
According to a report Monday by Fox Carolina News, Lieutenant Judy Stiles with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office reported an investigator was at the scene Monday evening. Although the home had been burglarized, no items were reported stolen. The family doesn’t know of anyone who has a grudge against them.
The person terrorizing this family needs to be caught. This is a rural area and it’s possible the person responsible has bragged about the act to friends. Laurens County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 68-CRIMESC (864-682-7463).
