There are some must-see Google+ reviews and ratings for the Texas veterinary clinic whose board certified veterinarian boasted on social media about killing a cat with a bow and arrow.
Some are claiming a family connection to Ms. Lindsey, but that may be only rumor, as there’s allegedly another Kris who works there who’s married into the owner’s family.
People commenting are upset about several issues. The top being how other employees at the clinic “liked” the photo of Lindsey holding a dead cat named Tiger, and bragging about her first kill with a bow and arrow. Others feel the clinic only terminated Lindsey after the photo went viral, and the Washington Animal Clinic was called out. Would the clinic owners have terminated Lindsey if the photo hadn’t caused a global stir? We’ll never know.
Now Washington Animal Clinic is struggling to regain credibility in the community. They do have their supporters, who don’t believe the clinic should be judged on the actions of one employee. The majority feel not enough firing has been done, and the clinic won’t survive all the backlash unless they “clean house” by terminating those who work there who supported Lindsey in her first kill.
Do you feel the clinic will be able to regain respect in their community? What needs to be done to make this happen. Your comments are welcome.
