According to a breaking news report March 18 by Fox Carolina News, an Easley rescuer has been arrested and at least 50 dogs have been seized from her property.
Anderson County online jail records show Sheridan was arrested on drug charges. Deputies said a trailer full of animals was seized from a home in the Easley area on Wednesday.
According to Jessica Cwynar with Anderson County PAWS, the facility was told to prepare to take in at least 50 animals. The health of the seized animals isn’t known at this time. Anderson County PAWS still has animals from a previous incident where animals were seized from Sheridan’s home.
Cwynar hopes the animals can be adopted out rather than euthanizing them.

In Sheridan’s last court appearance in January 2015, Sheridan escaped prosecution for dozens of dogs seized in early 2014. Anderson County Prosecutor Chrissy Adams stated at that time that
“All parties are very pleased with the resolution of this case as it not only allows these animals to be adopted into loving homes but also allows law enforcement to make sure that this situation does not occur again.”
What now, Chrissy? Sheridan has clearly disrespected your orders, and once again the dogs and the taxpaying citizens will pay the price.
