For those of you concerned with the pain Roxi and Delaney may be experiencing, Jennifer Stacy Remeta, who founded Abby’s Animal Angels, has given the following statement about pain management.
“It is important that everyone understand that Roxi and Delaney are both under a veterinarian’s care and on the strongest pain meds possible. We would NEVER force an animal to sit around in misery or pain. We were just updated by the vet at the emergency clinic, Delaney’s bloodwork is back, she is borderline anemic, and her blood count shows obvious signs of recent infection, but otherwise she is good. She is also heartworm negative!!”
Both dogs are also eating well.
Please share their donation page here. Roxi and Delaney will require intensive care that will likely run into several thousands of dollars in vet fees. Then they will need vetting before the thought of being placed into a permanent home is even considered.
Right now, Jennifer and her team of fosters are responsible for the needs of these two abused puppy mill dogs, and they need your support.
Please give if you can, and if you can’t, then share with friends. It’s only through the kindness of animal lovers that Abby’s Animal Angels can continue to serve the Greenville area, where they pull dogs and cats others would give up on trying to save.
