A $4,000 reward is being offered by a Tennessee animal shelter for information leading to an arrest of the person who abandoned a litter of puppies to Goodwill over the weekend. WSOC News reported on the puppies April 23.

The trio of puppies was dirty, covered in urine and suffering from heat exhaustion. All three also have worms and have probably been neglected their entire lives.
Chelsea Fogal, the veterinarian at McKamey Animal Center told WTVC News
“She said when she opened the box, she could feel the heat come out. They had been there for a while.”
The center’s director announced Thursday morning that the reward, which started out small, has jumped up to $4,000. The incident is also under investigation.
