An upstate Habitat for Humanity home has been burglarized only weeks before a family was set to move in, WSPA7 reported January 30.
This tragedy means the family will have to wait even longer before moving into their dream home. Debra said in an interview with WSPA7
“They took away everything that this men have done to give us a home to call our own we’ve never had.”
Now time and money must be found to finish the project. In a way, the thieves have stolen from the community, since Habitat for Humanity is funded heavily by donations.
The Easley Police Department is asking anyone with information to call them at (864) 859-4025
