A South Carolina dog missing after a 10 vehicle collision on May 27 is now back at home after being found near where the crash occurred, WISTV reported May 29.
Stuart Parks, the father of the woman who was able to give the good news to the family, said he was out working on his trailer when Baby Girl came around the corner. In an interview with WISTV, Stuart describes how he was able to coax the dog over to where he was working
“I just started calling her over to me, she just kind of laid down.”
Stuart lives near the intersection of Tramp Road and Jamil Road, which is close to the crash area on I-26.
Baby Girl is being treated for a few injuries. Her fluffy coat was charred, and she has some burns on her ears, paws and her little stomach. Other than that, the family is glad she was found safe, and had only minor injuries.
Louise told WISTV
“She’s a precious spirit, and she gives us strength. She’s our Baby Girl. I think she’ll be Angel Girl from now on. She is a survivor. I fell so blessed, and I can say it’s nothing less than a miracle,”
