A little dog in Texas, stranded inside her flooded home, was reunited with her owner after more than 12 hours, Little Things reported May 29.
Unfortunately, she was unable to get home because the street in her Houston neighborhood was flooded. Her main concern was her dog Tinkerbell, a poodle who had been left in her kennel at home.
Lena’s grandson, Brian Gardner, knew the dog was stuck inside the house alone. He borrowed a friend’s duck boat the navigate the flooded streets and rescue Tinkerbell. Inside the home, he found Tinkerbell floating on a chair in the living room area. Miraculously she had somehow gotten out of her kennel, a move that saved Tinkerbell’s life.
Tinkerbell had been trapped for more than 12 hours on that chair inside the home. The local news station captured their reunion on video, which can be viewed by clicking here.
